Resthave residents enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch at French Creek Park. The weather cooperated and made for an ideal setting. Residents, staff and volunteers were treated to a meal of fried chicken, meatloaf, macaroni corn, cowboy beans, salads, watermelon, as well as pie or cake for dessert. A good time was had by all. Thanks to all who helped make this event a success.

July 5th, 2010

Resthave enjoyed a Hawaiian day complete with a Hawaiian meal and followed with a luau where the residents played games like Ring the Flamingo. The Dietary Department assisted with making many of the decorations, as well as, placing them throughout the facility with the help of the Social Service and Activity Department. One of our residents (Ida Balk) was a great help by making many decorations, leis and bracelets for the occasion. The residents donned leis and flowers and modeled beach style hats crafted by the Dietary Department. This event produced many smiles and we look forward to doing this again as this is our second Hawaiian Day. We thank all those who took part and made this event a success.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Ice Cream Social and made it another huge success!

On Friday, April 23rd, at 8:30, Resthave is holding their annual Volunteer Breakfast to honor our volunteers for their dedicated service. Please RSVP to Resthave 815-772-4021 by April 20th.

Thanks to all the Morrison Mustangs for coming and visiting our residents. It was appreciated by everyone and we all congratulate you for your championship season!
